A fabulous Mindfulness review from a happy parent X

A month on from Mandy’s class that I took with my 4 year and I am amazed at the impact that her hour-long session on Mindfulness has had upon our family;
With practical, fun and memorable techniques for helping you to feel calm and self regulate when feeling anxious, Mandy provided us with a whole raft of different tools to take away, many of which we have used since and which have significantly lowered my son’s anxiety levels; Prior to the class, he was very worried about starting school (and so was I! ) However, his transition into being in school full time could not have gone more smoothly- something we feel is due - in no small part - to him feeling reassured by the skills he learnt that morning. Mandy had a fantastic way of engaging with the children and added in lots of additional bits of information about the science behind mindfulness practices for the parents which has helped me increase my knowledge and in turn lowered my anxiety levels too.
She also provided tips for how to create a more peaceful sleep routine and so bedtimes have become much calmer too with all of us enjoying better sleep these past few weeks too. Genuinely one of the most helpful courses I have been on since having children, I highly recommend it.
