'The meditation sessions from Mandy were excellent, they can be done anywhere and anytime. The skills we all acquired are brilliant to help calm ourselves down if we ever feel stresses or just need to relax'.
The Reception children at Dursley Academy have been getting fully on board with so many of the techniques that I've taught them and are making use of them every single day. The cloud breathing has been used a number of times this week in phonics to try to refocus, hand breathing and rainbow breathing are still favourites and they've been talking about their emotions and monkey minds too as part of their learning about Children's Mental Health Week.
